RDWC—Leaving town for 2+ weeks

What’s up guys-

I may need to leave the country honestly and see some family. Right now the growing is helping a good bit with bills and jazz every harvest.

so if I were to leave for 2/3 weeks. What’s the best approach to keep the room up and running.

specifically-

How can i automatically fill the reservoirs for each? have buckets with nutes and water and a pump into each res on a timer and have it turn on for like 15 minutes a day? I’d be sketched having it go 15 min becuase of overflowing, but haven’t seen timers with smaller increments.

How can i track the room without bluetooth? I currently have sensorpush but that wouldn’t work being so far away.

I have a humidifier in the room which usually needs to be filled every like 3 days. Would I mod the res so i can put a water line from a pump and fill it with water on a timer?

I generally change the amount of nutes within 3 weeks but would have to maybe live with staying at one PPM for that period.

Or shut it down when i’m gone and start it up when i’m back? Just would
be a bit of a bummer

elevated holding tank and float valves. I would be weary of unattended pumps for that long.
Find a container or tank that will hold as much water as youd have to add in the 3 weeks. Run it to your system on a float valve. Mix nutrients in holding container. Put a small pump in holding container to run for a few mins every few hours to keep it mixed up.
Put float valve in humidifier with water line to it with a shut off block like RO systems have. $10-15 mod.
If things are fairly balanced when you leave, they should be fine when you get back if you can accomplish the above.
The ease of getting all this done will depend on how your system is set up and what stage of growth your plants are in.

Of course the easiest way is to have someone tend to if for you. If you have someone you trust that already knows about your grow that can handle basic instructions. I wouldnt introduce new people to it for this purpose though.

i've done 2.5 weeks away. the hardest part is finding a nute recipe that is pH stable that long.

i do drain to waste.

I just had surgery.
Like I just woke up 10 mins ago lmao.
I won't be able to get down to my base.ent for a week or two.
