RAW NPK nutrients

you guys must know something i dont..... last i checked , the npk numbers on the bottle represented a % of whats in the bottle. 0-50-50 would be the full 100% of the bottle. so obviously 140% is impossible using my math. im lost but google is my friend.....
We used a complicated formula in college to determine fertilizer. I got a c in the class but Google fertilizer equation

N is N
P2O5 consists of 56.4% oxygen and 43.6% phosphorus by weight. so take your P number an times it by .436 and thats your true P%
K2O consists of 17% oxygen and 83% potassium by weight. so take your K number and times it by .83 an thats your true K %

Thanks ronnie , youve helped me add to my learning today! i feel that is very solid info to know. thanky you sir!

yeah, but how do you know a plant is "stronger" when you use it? not saying you're wrong: i'm still not sure how much it really helps.
tell ya what. Do a side by side. If the silica plant isn't stronger more stress resistant and have closer nodes. Ill pay u for the silica. But also Google the benefits. There's two types. Avoid Potassium based

you missed my point: "stress resistant" and "stronger" are not measurable.

and i've got my own Si, don't need you to buy it.

don't want much ammonia based N in hydro. better for dirt. same with the piss based N.
i did not mean that like it looks. i was only talking about the amounts in his bottle....its 29% total N. There are definatly different forms of N but i believe they all consist of 100% N vs the K being 17% air and 83% K.

30 hours. Difference

just checking "your" math their ricky and bubbles. ricky is only grade 11 material. lol. some cheaper ferts you do have to watch out for how much coms from ammonia and piss (urea0

Fuck no im not as smart as ricky bud! i only got my grade 8! :bigjoint:
I "think", correct me if im wrong but i thought piss N was ammoniacal ? Im aware of ammonia and nitrate. im pretty sure urea is ammoina N but i could be wrong.
Nope just did a quick search and there are more types then i thought. appears to be about 4 or 5 types. i think ammonium nitrate is the most common along with urea.
All N is not made up of 100% N like i thought , so its just like p and k and can be tricky depending on who is doing that labling on the bottle.
I have a bag of urea, so i know exactly which N im using.
