I moved a couple years ago and held the rice filled jar containing the last few seeds I'd not grown, that sat in the fridge for 15 or so years. I contemplated tossing them and moving on.
I decided to give them a try and sowed them in starter trays with my tomatoes, something like 4-5 HOG by THseeds and 7-8 sensi super skunk circa 2000. All but 1 or two popped but most just lingered and the 2 seed leaf stage and pedered out there. Lost 2-3 to rabbit's.
Wound up with 3 skunks and 1 hog that I grew to finish outdoors next to my pool. I staked them down to the ground as they grew and when mixed with the annuals we planted no one noticed them, we probably had 5-6 swim party's, parents, kids from schools parents...nobody noticed, in plain fucking sight! I live in a subdivision surrounded by old blue hairs.
The smoke was great and it reminded me just how easy it'd been growing great smoke and jump started me back into the hobby.
Side note: the seed order id bought the hog and skunk I also bought (I believe dutch passion) blueberry fems and paid $340 or $360 for the pack. It was soon after a high times cup win. The plants were dismal yeilder of lovely buds just like the pics. The smoke was mediocre at best.
I now stick to the far more economical American genitics, lovin it!
