Well I finally bought a led light today and after looking at over 20 different led light companies I decided to purchase the Rapid Led Onyx Bloom. What made me decide to go with them was the high quality parts used in their system. Plus they are located in California which will make it a lot easier if anything ever happens to it.
I did get it for way below retail price so I'm pretty stoked about that! I do see on their website that the light can handle a 3x3 and will replace a 600 watt hps. I know from my growing experience that might not be 100% true. I think u will probably need at least 2 of these Onyx Bloom to perform a decent canopy.
I will be keeping everyone updated when it arrives. I might even do a unboxing video (don't hold me to this lol)
I will for sure post many pictures of it in action and my personal opinions when putting it to the test in flower.
Right now I have a 3x3 tent in week 3 of flower with a 600watt hps going. Once that is done I will start a grow with the new Rapid Led Onyx Bloom. One thing I will change is instead of using the 3x3 I want to use my 2x2 tent. I think a single light will do better in a 2x2 tent.
