Random Nutrients.

Ive heard a couple new additives to water on this site. What are some random or interesting ones yall have heard?
I got:
Molasses
Orange Juice
Gatorade??

Anything other then nutrient solution, post here!

How are you going to quantify how much of ANY of that crap you need to give to your plants??? Also, basically what you're talking about giving them is carbohydrates (well, except the OJ, I have no idea what OJ would be used for, vitamin C maybe?)...

Anyways, people are using supplements like you listed, but why would you?? The chemicals that you want that are contained in these are easily bought in a more pure form from your local grow store, and designed for PLANTS.. Gatorade, Molasses, and Orange Juice are all 3 going to have other components in them that you really do no want in your system (especially Hydro).

I also believe that these so-called "supplements" are being used by soil growers only, not hydro. You definitely would NOT want to add any of that garbage to your hydro system.. You'll end up with nothing but head aches.

If you're new to growing and wondering where to start with nutrients, I would suggest you look in to the General Hydroponic line of nutrients. The Flora Micro, Flora Gro, and Flora Bloom nutrients are excellent. I recommend their products. I use them with EXCELLENT results.

Yea Im defently looking for soil growing.
