I'm from south florida and the green iguana invasives people released as pets have no natural predators here... they flouurish.. Ruining sea walls canal embankment from burrowing into the side for a home... there EVERYWHERE. There are bounty on them .. they have the nick name tree chicken ... the cold months come around and it might hit like low 50s upper 40s and you literally have to watch walking under trees because the iguanas get so sluggish. They kinda halt..m mid crawl,climb where ever they are.. could look up and there just hanging by a claw accidently.. should of fell hours ago... or unsuspecting person walking gets hit in the head with a 10lb lizzard... lol! You can bring them inside and put em in a room temp bath and slowly add warmer water and they will revive within a short while.. tbenyou got a wild live iguana in your posession.. but that's a wholenother issue.Have never seen or heard this word until this morning

The guy that started the "Park" fire was hammered and drove off the road and got stuck. He then decided that mashing the gas pedal until the car caught on fire would be the best way out of that situation. He somehow put the car into neutral and got out before it rolled down the hill setting the canyon on fire. He is in jail with no bail and is facing his 3rd felony strike which will get him 25-life. Nice guy.
Smoke laid down overnight and the diurnal downslope winds have pushed some into the valley, fortunately there has been enough of an onshore wind to keep the smoke out of our area. Containment is at 14%. Damage assessment is ongoing.
