Good luck bro, I had a Dr visit a week ago and he told me if i loose another 40lbs I can get new knees. I switched to a plant based diet a couple months ago and i have lost 10lbs so far. He proscribed 1000mg B12. So it's oatmeal for breakfast every day, bean tostada or salad for lunch, and Pizza is plant based....right? Doing 10 miles a day on my stationary bike. Shooting for new knees in 2025.
Hey dude you could cheat a little too and get on Wegovy or Ozempic. But i don’t think insurance will pay for it unless you got the diabetes :-(

I went from 240 to 170 in a year. Mostly from eating <70 grams of carbs (most of that's fiber), a day and
watching glycemic index/load of everything. A1C started off last year at 5.8 down to 5.3 but back up to 5.5 four months ago.
Diet restriction sucks, but don't have to take any meds (yet)
