Raising Money

You know if these politicians can raise all this money for campains Why don't the country make the bastards pay off the national debt. Obama is talking about raising a billion dollars, 20 republicans those assholes millions+. In 2012 with all of them running for office they should pay off the debt they made. What do you think???

It would still be a pittance stacked against the debt.

So true!!!!!!

... and the debt is growing at an alarming rate.
Until people stop "needing" the latest technology and "needing" as many (if not more) gadgets than their friends and neighbors, the debt will grow and grow and grow until China reposesses the USA for loan repayment default.
The country is not exporting enough of anything to generate the income needed to pay for the imports - the future is not that bright looking.
