I want to use rain water for my plants. My area has lots of rain. I could put a 55 gal drum under my rain spout. Is there a way to filter out the undesirable elements of rain run off? Like pollen, plant bugs, or any other crap that may be on my roof. I don't even know if there would be a problem with contaminates. I would think any kind of water filter would take out the good minerals as well as the other stuff I don't want. So anyway any help would be appreciated. Thanks
