raggae.....why?...?

Before I ever smoked weed, I didn't care for raggae all that much. But after the first time i listened to Ziggy Marley, I've been intruiged.
So i thought, why is it that raggae goes so well with a buzz?
Why is it that Jamaicans have gotten listening to music while high down to a tee...
When I initially couldn't think of an answer, I thought, theres only one way to know for sure. So I packed a bowl of some sativa (so i could think about things waaay more in depth) and got pondering.(of course with some Bob in the background :D)

'Course when your high you figure these things out instantly, so I've completely cracked it :D

as any stoner may know, (contrary to popular belief), when your high your mind is whizzing. The incapability to sustain a thought can sometimes be annoying, but its a reasonable price to pay to gain a deep insight into things you never would have thought about before.
Now musically, raggae always plays a chord off the beat. And in many cases, every second beat. So even when the tempo is actually very high, it seems to be very slooooww.
so while the music is going very fast(and keeping up with the stoners mind) this slowness is calming and mellowing, which is also complimented by slow singing.
all this greatly attributes to your mood, and can put a different mindset in you instantly.

So there it is :P the reason why high people generally love raggae :D

here's a link of a perfect example of what i mean.
and this is also (and probably always will be) my favourite song to listen to stoned. :D

thanks for reading (if you did :D)
