skunkushybrid you have to remember that race was an invention by imperialists to rationalize doing horrible things to other humans. It's just another belief system to set one group of people ahead of another. I just look at the world with predetermined prejuidice.
Just find any definition of the word racist and swap out any reference to ethnic differences and replace with intelligence/educated and you still have racism.

If you believe in science then race does not exist. It's a social construction. In other words, the genetic difference between most people is very little and it's possible to have more variance with your own family than say somebody from a completely different ethnicity/creed, whatever.
If I call somebody black, I am refering to their skin tone only.

Yes, yes, yes, please. I already know. OK. Technically, racism can't exist as we are all inter-bred anyway, also because we are all one race of people to begin with. Homo Sapien.
Yet. Racism is a term used to describe a mindset where you hate a person because of the colour of their skin, or indeed where they are from. I totally agree that racism is ignorant. My dislike of muslims stems from the way they are going about trying to gain world domination. I wouldn't define this as racist, by any definition.

What about one of these "racially motivated attacks", where some white guys have got in a fight with some asian or black guys or whatver.
If 7 white guys were beating up a black man that would be racist, if 7 black guys were beating up a white guy, he went down the wrong street.
If an asian and a white guy are starting out an arguement, theres no racial abuse or anything, for hypothetical purposes the white guy knocks out the asian guy and then the police arrive, the asian guy says it was racially motivated, what would happen?
on another note the I.R.A. use to attack england due to a difference of beliefs, is this racism?

So ok with me you will have to excuse this sentance ive tried to stay out of this thread as much as i can, I have no problem in anyway with blacks apart from the attitude that some of them seem to have. I have no problem with the chinese, the muslims i believe will bomb us and indians, I have met and liked indians, i have had jokes with them and in general i find them to be good people, my only problem with them and I dont think this is racist, is that when i walk into a shop at 9 am I dont want to smell them having curry for breakfast, I have taught some indians to drive in my spell as a driving instructor and in general, yeah they stank pretty bad, all the spices and everything they eat, the car used to stink for over 24 hours after the last one got out.

the laws here in US are crazy nonGT. politicians have created "hate crimes" to stick on people for killing or committing violence with racial motivation.. it's the most masturbatory legislation imaginable.
fools stand up and announce "progress" when they make a new hate crime or sentence someone under them but in reality they have affirmed that certain people are inferior and need special attention. the spot light seeking leaders of minority groups applaud these laws, welcoming the special status of "not quite equal" because it lets them justify lower standards, less effort and more reliance on oppressive but fiscally beneficial handouts.
i believe that they get it and they thrive upon this. they enslave their followers.

So, by using the 39 people that have voted as a guide, it appears that 20% or 1 in 5 people on rollitup are guilty of being racist. Or hating another for the colour of their skin.

Oh I understand the thread is about racism. I was talking about the discussion of religon in a thread intended for something entirely else. But then you may not mind because you are kinda the one who tangetiated your own thread.
