<<Applause>> I would think the 3oz or so you got out of it about pays for the setup. Have a feeling the second run will be quite a bit better as you'll stay on track from the start as mentioned before... Wow, the roots went right through huh? Wonder if that had anything to do with your "nute-like" issues. All in all, it was a success r0m, and it only gets better from here. I know- I am a perfectionist too and would want alot better in the future, and I think it can only get better from here... :)

Thanks, It pays for most of it except the light. Those LEDs are still expensive. I'm hoping for a lot better in the future for sure. Gotta clean up and make a few changes and then it's onward and upward.

Although your roots were close, they did not quite achieve cotton candy status. I think a lot of that had to do with the chamber being too small. That aside, you should be very happy with your first result.

Yeah, not to bad for a 5Gal bucket. What surprised me was how much air there was in between the roots, they pretty much filled the bucket until they were taken out then the volume collapsed and it looked like a lot less roots mass than I thought.

Posting here, too, just in case some are not on TBs thread.

My ~ 5 yo Hanna HI 98127(pH/temp meter) will not calibrate. *EDIT: I had replaced my probe + batteries ~2 years ago. The probe was giving false readings (I did not understand why I was needing more acid than usual (and more over the last month), but did not connect the dots. This could have been as a much a problem as the mist heads missing the pressure valve. My 4 test clones took a hit, but better them than new plants.

I contacted Hanna and was told that probes last ~ 1 year. Cost of probe ~ $55. I also needed batteries. Between the 2, it was ~ the same as buying a new one. There's a place in Atlanta that comes up when you google Hanna. It is $74.99 + free shipping.
