I bought a ro system from Costco. I paid $200.00 for it but it sucKs. It takes for ever to a few gallons of water wtf.

So I was wondering if any of my fellow RIU members have a ro system and if so if they will give me some advise on a different unit.

you more than likely need a RO booster pump

the h20 science booster pump, aquatek 6800 or 8800 boooster pump... should boost your PSI of inline water up to max 120 PSI..

Thanks guys and gals. I didn't realize that all of the ro systems are that slow. I have a four filter system with a three gallon res. I guess I will try to run a line to a bigger res I will try the 35 gallon res with another one for the run off. This way I don't have any wast. I will just keep running the same water over and over again.

its not easy to just recycle the water.....water going thru the RO has to be pressurized a little bit right?

But I can take the extra water and use it to water the lawn/flowers/dogs/wet tee-shirt contest. What ever comes to mind. :)

you could, it would be worse than your tap water. Thats why they call it waste water. I have my ro hooked to a series of shutoffs I bought at Meijers in the pet dept about $5.00, has four and a half valves, the half runs to another set, 1/4" air lines, turn on two valves, fills the reses. I think I posted it somewhere. VV:blsmoke:
