Thanks for posting. Although I knew ed was going through many health challenges it was still such a shock to hear of his passing. I don't know of any guitar player, who began playing in the 80's, that was not directly influenced by Eddie's style, leggato, or tapping. He was the biggest innovator, on the electric guitar, since Hendrix. If there is a heaven I hope he is up there jamming with the legends that passed before him: jimi, randy rhoads, Jerry, frank zappa, bb king, sev. RIP Eddie and thank you for the inspiration.
