Yo rollers so I put my girlies in flower a week ago and hadn't installed my filter yet, so better start now b4 I need to panic. So I have 2x 6inch inline fans, one for my 4x2 and one for the 4x4. I was pulling air from the light straight out for both of them with the fan sitting directly ontop (outside) of the tent.
Question: Should I install light>fan> filter with fan and filter ontop of the tent ( Hot air will half fans life and pushing air out filter is not ideal) OR Light>fan + buy another fan (inline or boost?) and keep the HID completely sealed with its own vent sucking the air out and use the 6"to suck through the filter and blow out heat? Basically I want to make one 6 inch fan be able to extract the heat from the HID while filtering the smell. I mean the fans are a little OP to where they can't adjust down to low CFMs, I have to have them turned to their lowest possible pretty much as close to where the electricity is not giving a steady air flow where it turns off and on. Also if I'm around 80 degrees f and 50% humidity should I try to ventilate more heat at the expense of lowering the humidity(for Veg)? Any tips are priceless
Both are up to 300 watts rn with the flwer @ 72 degrees with the light on (RH ~35%) and 68-81 degrees off/on for the veg (RH ~45%). Been putting wet paper towels near the fan to help moisten the air in the veg but that and putting a pot of boiling water to raise the humidity really sucks, i need to
