Quick ventilation question

i was planning on fitting a computer fan at the back of my box and just a hole somewhere at the front for ventilation. since im new then i was wondering,...

the vent layout will be ok for air flow but wont the plants need abit more O2?

i work 8:30 - 5pm. so normaly up at 7 and back home at 6. my question is, would putting a desk fan on them for about 10 minutes in the morning and evening make any difference? just a quick blast of more air and bit more cooling from the CFLs. might make the stems abit stronger, yes?

need more info on the box... how big is it? how many plants are in it? light situation...

yea it would make a difference but you should work on getting a small fan to get in the room 24/7.. the ideal temp for growing is 70-82 so try not to get 2 hot in there man...

you'd wanna have the fan going 24/7 cos not only does it cool the grow room but as you know, with a passive intake hole, the exhaust fan will pull fresh air (along with C02) in and your plants are going to want more than a few mins a day of fresh air. if there's some way of leaving a window in the grow room open an inch or 2 for several hrs a day, that would provide enough fresh air.

oh and you definitely want some sort of fan blowing on the plants the whole time or at least when you're lights are on, not just a few mins a day.

no i think u guys misunderstand what i was asking abit.

i will have the fan on 24/7, but thats only the extract fan at the back of the box.

i have a desk fan i can blast with cold air when applicable. is that not sufficient enough? do i have to have like,.... a 5" fan on the plants all the time?
