QUICK! Transplanting to 5 GAL

I have my plants in 3 gallon pots right now, and just bought some 5 gallon pots. I was going to turn my photoperiod over to flowering, should I sit in 18-6 for a longer amount of time befroe i go to 12-12 after I transplant? Or can I just go straight to 12-12.

Wait a week or two to allow time for the roots to stretch out to the new root zone.

My gut says you might as well give it a few days of its normal light cycle after the transplant. Unless a few days will make or break your grow (which would be surprising), it just seems like the prudent thing to do: just one significant change at a time. The added benefit is that if something goes wrong, you'll only have the one likely cause, rather than trying to figure out which was likely responsible.
