Hang the therm/hyg by the tops of the plants under the lights because this should be the hottest area in the roomyou can sit it right beside your plant in the soil.
You have to buy one who registers minimum and maximum temperatures.. the light under the plants can be about up to 35°C if u ventilate the air around the top leaves.. Ventilation is importand it lets a plant sweat faster.. sweat = vaporise water = grow .. The maximum room temperature should be 29°C max cince photosynthesis is greatly lowered above 30°C (u have to do the math to tiredGet a small digital thermometer/humidity monitor.
