they look like orange hairs to me....could be female

The orange things are dried up stipules, the preflowers look liek they might have hairs coming out of them but its hard to tell from a strait on pic, try to get a side shot of them.

you got pistils all up the stem, n i aint talkin about the orange spikes. your pistils are just curled up in some places, but theyre definitely pistils bro. CONGRATS
