Hello everyone,

I have a 600watt hps light thats in use and should be finished in the next 2 weeks maybe 3.

My question is I have an aeroflo 30 index.jpeg I currently have one row full with plants that have vegged 3 weeks and been on 12/12 another 2 weeks and one row that vegged 3 weeks and been in it for 1 week. I have a 250watt hps above it and the plants arranged to best get the light as I plan to switch or just add the 600watt hps as soon as it is available.

Anyway my question is once I have all 3 tubes full with the hps over them would it hurt to have t8 fixtures mounted on the sides to provide side light to lower branches?? A friend says it is not good to mox mps and flourescent lighting but I have searched around and find no evidence of that at all to aupport that.

So whats your opinion??

A. Just use the 250 watt until the 600 is rdy
B. Use the 250 watt with the 2 bulb t8's as side lights until the 600 is rdy
C. Use the 250hps and 600watt hps only??
D. Use all the damn light I can get on them!!

My problem is the lower leaves, branchs are looking like they are stressing from low light.

Also has anyone had experience with T5's?? I have 2 4 bulb T5 VHO fixtures I use for vegging that would fit over the aeroflo perfectly and am wondering how it would do if I just used those instead of the HPS lights.

Hello agenttokie. If you can afford the extra Electricity Bill then i would use All of the Lights Available. Just make sure you have Plenty of Air Circulation and keep an eye on your Temperature.
With the Extra heat if any? you might have to water your Girls a little more frequently But...
More Lights = More Buds :weed: And Thats what your aiming for :hump:
Give your mate a Grow Book and Tell him to Start Reading :dunce: lol...
