Hey so just a quick newbie question.

I just germinated seeds in rockwool, and they have been sitting in a dark place, and after 2 days there is signs of life... :) 4 out of the 5 have broken through the surface. So I was wondering when is the right time to put them under CFL lighting? Should I give them a day or two?
I have a 200 w CFL, so how close should I put it away from the top of the plants.

Thanks

You can put them under light now. I've had good luck with low intensity lighting. Balancing stretch and energy is the key.

No clue about using a big CFL. I use a single 23 Watt per seedling and keep them close.
