Quick Question - New seedlings n light

Hey so just a quick newbie question.

I just germinated seeds in rockwool, and they have been sitting in a dark place, and after 2 days there is signs of life... 4 out of the 5 have broken through the surface. So I was wondering when is the right time to put them under CFL lighting? Should I give them a day or two?
I have a 200 w CFL, so how close should I put it away from the top of the plants.

You can put them under light now. I've had good luck with low intensity lighting. Balancing stretch and energy is the key.

No clue about using a big CFL. I use a single 23 Watt per seedling and keep them close.

Put them under now. You could even buy a cheaper light with less wattage if you wanted to save money. Something like this from walmart http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=16879945. I had no problems using this light for the seedlings and a pro grower on here told me he uses the same exact light for seedlings. You can get this light for like 8 dollars.

My first try growing I threw them under a 400 watt mh light and it wrecked them.
