Quick Question about starting outdoors...

I can germinate my seeds inside no problem but i wanna grow them into seedlings in solo cups before I transplant them to their permanent site. When can I put them out? I don't wanna put them out too early and induce an early flowering stage as a young plant.

I dont know where you are at but I would say wait until you are getting 14 hours of light a day. Now if it is not a mature plant you may be able to get away with putting the plant out around 420. good Luck dirrtyd

I'm in new england and I've looked p the sunrise and sunset times and it seems that late april might be good. They wont be mature at all I want to start the seedlings then. As in- germinate them around late april and get them going then.

That should work as long as you dont catch a late frost. Again Good Luck and happy Growing dirrtyd

Yeah I'm in RI and I'm hoping for no frost around easter. I'm going to germinate in two batches saving my better strains for may and germinating some of my lesser 'freebies' in april.

After any chance of frost. Good advise all. I will be xplanting in May as I am in Zone 4. I will also be putting my seedlings outside in thier cups for a few days to harden them before xplanting them.
