CFL...or T5?
Reason I'm asking, is a friend of mine just found a Nova Extreme he had laying around the house from his days with aquariums. He's wants to grow, and was wondering if it was best to go the CFL route, or use the T5's.
The T5's would need all new bulbs, as what is in there now are 10k's and actinics...but the unit is all in one, with a fan on either end of the enclosure, that I'm SURE I could turn into a mini cold tube for him.
Grow is going to be in a small stealth box, probably 2 plants at any one time max.
It's a 24 inch setup, with 4 x 25 watt HO T5's.
Thoughts?
