I'd go for A, if you give it another day or two to grow so you don't clip the growth shoot.
You don't want to get a lot of stretch between tops.
If you get crazy stretch again you may as well go with B.

Trimming an even canopy is hard when the nodes get offset, I'm into the same trouble now.
