if the plant is budding there will be male flowers up in the bud that you can't see. remember your sex ed class...it only take one flower...

Incorrect info. Seeds from a hermie plant that has pollenated ITSELF will be MOSTLY hermie seeds. In order to get "Feminized" seeds, you must pollenate an altogether DIFFERENT female plant with the hermie pollen. Those seeds will be MOSTLY female.
i have picked pollen before from the 3rd week flower on and the bud was seedless from not having 12 hours darkness.. 1 of the push down buttons got pulled up and i didn't notice till they were done they were shooting out about 20 bananas a day on 14 plants....i was very busy! but u really need to pull them to stand a chance...
