Why does this spiderframer 1000 watt light only true 100 watt https://www.spider-farmer.com/collections/sf-series-leg-grow-light/products/sf-1000-led-grow-light
But then this Mars Hydro 1000 watt says its 150 true? I'm confused lol https://www.mars-hydro.com/led-grow-light/mars-ts-series-led-grow-light/mars-ts-1000-led-full-spectrum-hydroponic-led-grow-light

Because it's marketing BS. The 1000W is meant to be "equivalent" to HID light.
The true wattage is what counts.

One light is 100W, the other 150W.
That's it.

I don't see anything on the Mars page you linked that says 1000 watts, but maybe I missed it. On the SF page, they are clearly lying.

So on the SF what you think the true wattage is? And the mars Hydro vs1000 says it's 150 true watts.

He's speaking of the Mars TS 1000, which is actual 150Watt. I use one from sprout through week 3 on my autos.

Heat is a function of wattage, so any 130w light will put out the same heat as those you have. The only difference is a more efficient light will also produce more photons.

Yes, I'm aware. He said they are listed as 1000w units, but I don't see that on the page he linked to unless I'm missing it.

You are saying the ts 1000 is a 1000w light, Mars isn't saying that. They are saying it's a 150w light. You invented the 1000w thing in your mind.
