Quick hash making question

Im making iso-hash using this method:

Should I powder my trim or freeze it first?

Also, would lowering the temp of the alcohol do anything?

Well since no one answered I went ahead and did it anyway. I ground up the leaf in a blender for a few seconds and then proceeded to put it in a jar with the iso alcohol.

Let it sit a few minutes, shook it, let it settle. Pour off excess into filter and drain into pan.

While it was draining I put more alcohol into the trim and shook it again. Then pour off again into the filter.

I did this 4 or 5 times.

Evaped all the alcohol and now I have the sticky ball of hash resin the size of my thumb nail. I wish I could weigh it i bet its at least a gram.

Smoked like .1 of it and it was fuckin incredible. Bubbled as I smoked it.

I made this it sucked I made dirt that smells like booze haha what did you use to filter?
