Quick flush / harvest question

I noticed today after checking the trichomes that I'm about 10% amber. I want to make sure I'm correct because of well, being a noob and trying to finish this crazy ass up and down adventure on the perfect note. I know I'll need to flush soon (soil, liquid nutes) but the last 3 weeks they only got about half strength nutes. I am currently using RO water and do not have a ph meter or any ph up/down (yeah I know I was unprepared). My question is if I only use RO water to flush / water before chop time will that be detrimental to the end result, would tap (I use a water softer / hard water filter due to high levels of iron) water be a better choice?

Appreciate any advice. I couldn't get a good shot with my phone for the trichomes but this is where its at. Week 10 flower photoperiod (pic is from the end of week 9, 2 days ago) unknown sativa bagseed.

Its not ready and no need to flush. Flushing is a myth and always has been. Looks like you have about 3 weeks at least still to go. Where are you seeing the amber?

So if you don’t flush, the nutes won’t show up in the taste? When I was looking through my jewelers loop I spent like 30 min looking at all the buds and obviously I’m guessing but about 1 out of every 10 are turning amber.

No there’s several articles on it. The taste is generally from poor drying conditions. We’re you checking the bud itself or fan leaves.

No where near ready. At least 3 more weeks, but probably more like 4 more.

Yeah, I'll look again tomorrow but I know I saw some amber. If its makes any sense, these girls started outside, got transplanted 3 times before I got em (friend couldn't keep em). I've had em since week 1 flower. I didn't think a 14 week flower was possible but hey this grow has taught me alot.
