quick easy to answer question for expereinced growers

Im about to start growing soon....
Long question short. How long does it take to go from seed to dry bud in my blunt?

depends on the strain, lights, environment and about 1000 other things

there are a whole lot of factors on this one but you can do it in four months or so.

that all depends...biggest factor being strain...and how long you veg it...auto seeds or reg seeds...anywhere from 6 weeks minimum for some autos...up to 4-5 months for bigger growing more sativa like strains...no way to give an certain time being that every strain and grower is different

if your only concern is how long it takes for you to get to smoke your stuff...you have a lotttttt more learning to do before starting a grow...had you done enough research to start a grow..you would have already known the answer to your question...research research research

if you want this shortest possible time do some autos..dont expect a shit load of yield though

Like everyone is saying theres alot to account for with time, My First grow is still going with grow #2 started also,.. But my first vegged like 4 weeks and will flower in another 8weeks plus 1 week to dry unless you dry it quicker, then 1 more week to cure. Thats for a "Correct" method and timeline. My 2nd grow I'll likely only veg for 2 weeks or till they reach 12"-14" in height and toss em in the bloomer again bout 8 more weeks Plus 1 to dry and 1 to cure again.. My best time would be about 12 weeks, And maybe even longer if they are still not mature to harvest.

Plan out your first grow best you can and yes like djruiner said Research. I'm still new here with very few posts But I'm on these forums Every night Looking for something new I dont allready know, this is better than school ever was. Better subject matter LOL.
Bottom line is these forums have all your questions answered, ya just gotta look and or ask.

My Opinion for a decent yield with Excellent Correct Equipment depending on strain, I Would guess 12-14 weeks, Unless ya got smaller clones goin to flower faster or a faster flowering strain. Good Luck

I vegged for 3 weeks from sprout, flowered for 9 weeks, harvest and dry for 3 days, cure for at least 2 weeks, smoke. So it was.....14 weeks = Three and a half months. Was my first grow, got about 4 ounces for 5 plants.

Indica's will flower faster than Sativa's. They are also easier to grow, less picky. If you want a quick crop, then look for strains with shorter flowering periods. And remember you can flower a plant whenever you like, it does not have to reach a certain age. You will get less bud from a immature plant, but it will still flower and produce buds.

If you try sweet speed devil you can grow from seed to harvest within 5 weeks, then a week or so to dry. Ive been told its a good smoke too, quite heavy on the stone.... Its an autoflower so dont expect huge yeilds however I know some peeps can get great results with AF.
