hey guys, i let it dry for about 3 days, i threw the nugs in a jar and burped on the way home. now than i'm home, is continuing to burp them a legit way to dry them? They seem pretty dry now but I guess they could compact more. should I let them air dry or continue burping?

No clue. But I suggest this only for the burp method so the jars are only open for 10minutes once or twice a day. I try to plan my events around my plants, so Ive never been in this sitch. But the way I figure it...is keep the windows rolled up when you burp, then go for a drive with the windows down to air the smell out of the car.
To the O.P. keep burping once a day for the first week, then 2-3 times a week (depending how dry/moist the buds are), then I'd let the buds sit in the jar s for a whole week (closed jar), then burp one final time at the end of the week.

Nope let em breathe for about 10 minutes when burping. Shaking them around a bit might create more shake than anything.
EDIT: To save posting again I agree with the wording drinkinsig151 uses by saying "re-arrange" the buds. This is a better idea that shaking the jar. the buds are getting more dry, shaking them will make it easier for pieces of leaves that are crisp to fall off, and thus form the shake I refered to earlier.

yea 10-15 most people say. But if you did not dry them for many days under your bed you could prob leave 'em open longer. make sure you re-arrange them..The buds outside will feel dry but there is still moisture deep down inside... Its like fine wine bro 
Curing weed in your car would not be the brightest thing in any situation. Even if you call all your buds over and ask em to take a shit in your trunk, one pass by a K-9 and your facked! you cure bud in a car and it could be long gone and that dog is gonna smell it and at the very least get you rousted even if you dont have it in there anymore.
Lol the chances of a trained sniffer dog walking anywhere near his car are probably very low, you might aswell say that a police man might walk past his car when he accidently left the boot open or something. I dunno how long the smell would linger but if the smell is there but the weed isnt and he gets searched they cant do shit to him apart from give him a hard time.
microwave it on power level 3 or 30% in 5 minute increments and let sit out for like 20 mins in between to let the water that the microwave sucks out of the stems to the surface dry before sucking more out by throwing it back in..
takes away like 90% of the smell and taste! and still works pretty much the same and doesn't seem to burst any of the bulbs on the trichomes..
but definitely not recommended to dry this way for quality.. just for the NOW i want to smoke it times... or kill the smell and taste.. this IS your answer.. peace.

We are talking about curing, not drying. The jars are opened once a day for 10 minutes, granted the ganja will smell, but thats why I say go for a drive to air the car out a bit after each breathing session. I doubt thats a K-9 unit would be driving by his house, and walk the dog through his back yard haha. Where I live there aren't many K-9s...about 2, and I live in a city of 50,000 so we don't see the K-9s around much, and they are let out at the PD, and to chace someone down, not going out for random walks.
