Questions.

So about a month ago I purchased a few clones that we just threw in pots with organic soil.
They are on a roof so they get plenty of sun and we water about twice a week.
They seem to be growing very slow and only 2 of them seem to be growing at all.

I am a complete rookie looking for a beginners guide for dummies on the basics of growing.

It is just an experiment really not looking for large yields just thought it would be fun to try growing a couple plants myself.

also is it too late to start over outdoors?

Do they still have the cotyledons (first set of leaves that look round)? Are you feeding them nutes?

I would say its a bit too late to get a good yield but I bet you'd get a decent amount, keep all the plants just plant more if you want.

Not sure where you are located...if it's somewhere where it freezes in like October - you may freeze before it's over. Agree that if those initial seedling leaves (coteldons) turn yellow - it's time for nutes.

No it s not too late but you must raise them indoor or in a nursery For seedling stage(4 weeks). If plants are put out in mid to late spring, soil is still moist and cool, temps are mild ,perfect for germination and seedlings. But to throw them out now in dry hot soil 90 deg+ is a diff story.

I don't believe they still have the cotyledons and not feeding them nutrients. Like I said this literally my first time trying so didn't know you even need nutrients.
Anybody have a link or guide for dummies would be great.

I am located in Los Angeles area. No freeze.
I don't see any yellow leaves.
Will try and post pics.

unfortunately growing indoors is not an option. and we don't get to the ninety degrees very often so may not be a problem.

Dude how hot is your roof, and if the answer is hot like over 70 then your roots are being fried and your probably set back a couple weeks or more if that is so, its hard but you want to try and control variations in temp and humidity and if your out door you already missed the soltice which is when the 12/12 switch over is so i would go out side so buy a 400 switchable mh/hps and do it right

an oz of prevention or forsight is worth pounds

your going to have to biuld a poor mans box to give your plant supplemental light to keep it on time but if you flower it now which it will do without help outside, you wont get much but if thats your only option then so be it. No tent possibilties? make a small one? with a side to side open orientation to the suns path
