Questions, Questions, Questions HELP!!!!

Hi Everyone,

This is my 2nd grow. I have lots of questions to ask!! I would be very grateful if people could answer!!

1st question...
i live in south uk and i planted seeds outdoors in around march and have 3 healthy looking 3 ft plants but they seem to be showing signs of flowering already and the days are still vry long is this normal?

2nd question...
I think i have sucessfully sexed my plants and would like someone else to confirm my thoughts...
Plant one i can see looks very male but there are also purple hairs growing and am unsure what to do.
Plant 2 looks to me like a female?
Plant 3 looks like a female but am not 100%.

3rd question...
My mate gave me these seeds from a bud he was smoking, could anyone tell me what strain this is likely to be?

Thanks again for looking and hopefully answering!!

Your plant knows what its doing. If you aren't manipulating the light your plant gets at all then just let it keep going.

Plant 1 is definitely male. Plants 2 and 3 look female, but you have plenty of time for them to reveal their sex.

No, and anyone who tries is making up answers.

thanks for your quick reply... should i do anything to help them finish? and also thanks for confirming plant one is male although i cant understand the purple hairs would this suggest a hermie? also as the hairs are purple does this mean the strain is likely to be a purple strain? should i put nutes in as all i used was new compost.
Thanks again

There really isn't a lot you can do if they are buried in the ground. You could try covering them to give them 12 hours of darkness prematurely, but you would have to have 100% darkness, and that will be hard to accomplish, and any container you use will likely increase the heat and humidity to unacceptable levels. If you have to cut a little early its no problem. My friends that grow outdoors said that although growth slows down, they don't have any huge problems until the temp drops below 37 degrees Fahrenheit, which is just a touch over 0 degrees Celsius.

i cant understand the purple hairs would this suggest a hermie?
I can't see the purple hair. I wouldn't worry about it at all, the plant is definitely a male, possibly a hermie male. I would cut it now unless you are planning on making seeds, and if you are planning on making seeds you should not use hermie males. You'll just end up passing on hermie traits.

also as the hairs are purple does this mean the strain is likely to be a purple strain?
Not necessarily. The whole purple strain craze is overblown IMO. You have two types of purple plants, plants that turn purple in any grow environment(true purple) and plants that turn purple due to lower temperatures. The purple strains I've grown and smoked were not as strong as their non green counterparts.

should i put nutes in as all i used was new compost.
At this point in time I wouldn't add anything. Your plants don't look over or under fed to any degree. If you used new compost it will likely carry you through your grow because it will still be breaking down and supplying nutes to your plant. If you start to show deficiencies later you can correct that. Using nutes can be dangerous, they can improve yield, but they can also burn your plant, destroy all the fan leaves, and cripple it.

How much thought have you given to the flowering period? Those plants look fairly tall, and being sativa dominant I would expect AT LEAST doubling in height and increasing dramatically in stink.

Hi,
to be honest i havny given any thought to flowering as i was just going to leave them and let them do it by theirselves to be honest the space isnt really an issue but the smell could be! they dont smell at all at present and its a big garden with no neighbours within 500 yards so should be ok i would assume. i am hoping they would be ready by mid to late september as after that the weather would kill them i think!?
