questions plz help

i have only been watering my plants 2 times a day and i just switched from 18/6 to 12/12 should i be watering more? just wondering

also i do not understand why one would do supercropping and topping, or topping and LST, or whatever. don't they all pretty much have the same result? creating more/bigger/better tops?

I grow in Coco and the rule of thumb is to water and let run dry , I depends on how much water your using but.. To much water will drown your roots .

People train plants for a lot of reasons ... Space is always a factor .. cropping and topping can have better results than plants that are not cropped or topped as it can promote more than one main cola .

thanks for the response. im growing in hydro(using clay pellet thingys) so how do i know if i should give more water or not.

from what i've gathered so far in my brief try at the craft, pretty much...maximum harvest in minimal ideal growing areas. every top get the same amount of light at the ideal distance...
they get mighty leafy if you don't train them...you want maximum bud sites, not max foliage.
It's really super important to a CFL grower like me with limited space to work with as well.
maybe not so much for the fancy bad ass lights though...i'm not so sure.
all the methods you described stress the plant and the grower differently...experimentation is the only way for a grower to decide what is best for them.

peeps have a need to be involved in their grow? idle hands and all. Plus it's good learning.

during flowering i would expect them to use more water, sure.
the plants end up telling more than anyone can, honestly.
