I was at a pawn shop and stumbled across a growlight with reflector, digital balast, fixture and 6500k full spec. MH 600watt. This thing scares the shit outta me. At first it was making this holow matalic clank, but once the lamp warmed up it smeed to just do its thing. just the fan on the ballast running and a little matalic winding sound (which seems like the sond of the chemical reaction that produces the light). But i am scared to leve it alone I sat around it for a few hours, just to monitor it because I didnt buy it new. Now im running it over my plants in flower with a 125watt 2700k full spec. Cfl and 2 other warm spec cfl with 1800lumns. Im worried about heat. The noises. Killing my plants.
I was also looking for help with the plants they had a nitrogen issue i used dolomite and ir seemed to get better. only now the plants are getting green again. But the leaves were small and twisty. So i used my wifes "Fruit Ninja" and pureed bananas with the peels and added distilled water. And this also smeed to help. I think the dolomite is making the plants green but it seems like they all still needaa little smothing to help them along. Any advice is appreciated.
