Questions and tips...

So I’ve been fooling around with trying to grow (since I smoke a lot)
I’m in no way expecting anything from these seedlings as they are just some bunk ass reggie seeds. (Seriously some junk) I have some auto NL coming in a few days. I’ve constructed a box that’s about 4 feet tall and 3 feet wide. Intake and plenty space for outtake. I’m not keeping this setup for long. Will be buying a tent soon. I’m also going to be doing a dwc for my NL seeds. I have those 7.5 gal setup and I have been running them for about a week now with nothing but water and air stone to neutralize any chlorine or what not.
Questions are:
Do seed genetics really have that big of an impact with grow speed and everything?
My seedlings have been underneath my light about 5 or 6 inches away. No signs of burn or anything.. is my light junk or since its not getting hot the plants can withstand it? They are on a 17/7 schedule right now. The left plant is about 6 days from head out and the two on the right popped out 2 mornings ago... growing in peat moss and hydro balls.(expanded clay pellets) haven’t had good luck the past few weeks with soil and I know why.
Is the temp and humidity ok? Anything will help just looking for some pointers while I’m bored shitless here. Thank everyone!

yes I think genetics has a lot to do with quality of cannabis.

It’s a 1200w led 235w actual power consumption. Veg bloom switches.

Not much of an LED guy so not sure if that enough. but can I ask what happened with the soil that you didn’t like it?

Well at the time I started messing around with all this I didn’t research at all. Had a lot of seeds and decided to give it a go. Started with miracle grow organic performance. They got to about the size of what mine are now after like 3 weeks. They ended up slowing dying because I was transferring them back and forth trying different things. I like the idea of plants feeding themselves so that’s kinda why I don’t want to use soil now. I know there’s way better soil and coco all that out there but it seems to much for me. (Even tho soil is probably the easiest route I’m hardheaded)

I’m on my first grow now but have ran through 20 plants in one gallon pots. I can tell the difference between my bagseed and the purchased feminized seeds.

I’m also going to be starting a DWC grow but not until this grow is done.

dark green leaves during flower, too much nitrogen.
don’t spray foliar feed or ANYTHING during flower to help keep your buds fresh. (So far this is what I’ve been helped with since posting in the group) I’m sure there’s a lot more mistakes I’ve made that haven’t been caught.

You probably won't notice any difference now. When they start showing their sex that's a different story.

Thanks everyone. Does anybody have a day by day growing journal with pics on this forum somewhere. Completely new and wouldn’t have an idea where to look.
