Questions and concerns on 600watt box

Hey guy,
So this is my first post on the site and would like to thank everyone for all of the info that I have read about on the site. So I have constructed a flower box measuring 36"X40"X66" tall. I will be running a 600 watt hps with some type of sealed air cooled reflector (no cool tube though) I have a 6" inline fan that is rated at 400 cfm. I will be running the exhaust outside and the intake will come from my home that is a pretty steady 75-77 degrees. Do you think I should run separate ventilation for the light or would I be able to just run the 6" fan for both the box and light?

....if you have the means, by all means, do them both. Of course, test it out first with the light on and see what temps you get.......try to keep it under 80F if no co2. Good luck and stop in the intro thread to introduce yourself:weed: peace, gman

Thank you. I have no plans yet to run any co2 and If my fiancé would let me I would go all out but shes in charge of the household budget and I am somewhat limited. I would like to try and separate the two. If I run the online fan to the light would a couple computer fans be enough for intake/exhaust of just the box? I have quite a few of those on hand

.....no prob, and I am sure you'll get more ideas/responses. Idk about the computer fans....kind of thinking they'll not have enough power in them to really get much cfm. If only one good inline fan, I am also not sure if the best bet is to use it on the sealed light(assuming it's sealed). If you have the time, experiment running it the different way is probably the best advice. Your ambient temps are already up there pretty good. You may very well just want the complete air exchanged out of the tent----assuming it will be ducted completely out of the room to not raise your ambient temps. 600's can/do throw some heat---keep that air moving. Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Thanks for the advice. I really appreciate it. I'm going to just intake from my bedroom(77 F) and exhaust outside. I'll try out just running the one fan and adjust as needed if needed.
