questions about ph

Ok maybe starting to get this under control....using 15 gallons of r/o water #s are much better
put in very little gh grow micro and a lil sweet
Ppm is 177
Ph is still around 7 but I think I will concern myself with ppm more than Ph....
am a doing a bit better with these #s? Im thinking I could double my dose of bytes and prolly still be around 400 ppm

Your ph should be way lower. Like 5.7 or so. Ppm depends on growth stage. Mine never go above 1500. Ok maybe 1600 for weeks 4-6. But I have never seen deficiencies with those numbers but I have certainly seen scorched plants with higher ones

Your PH is important dude, too low or too high and you will lock out the roots taking up nutrients. 5.5 - 6.0 is good ( 5.7 5.8 ) perfect.

1500-1600 is in week4-6 of flower though right? I am at beginning stages of veg....gonna try a lil more Ph down in r/o water and then add nutes after getting 5.6-6.0 area, is about 450-600 ppm a fair range for small plants in veg?

Add your nutes first. Then your PH. The nutes have PH buffers in them. Also you need to add cal/mag to R/O water. Add the cal/mag first then do a PPM check. Dont count the PPM of your R/O water and cal/mag. Say your R/O water and cal /mag give you a 200 PPM, after you add your nutes it takes your PPM to 1100 well minus the 200 ppm and you really have 900 ppm of nutes because you dont count the additives like cal/mag.

450 -600 is fine for growth in veg. How old are your plants in veg ?

I'm over it. Does this guy know ANYTHING at all about hydro growing? I mean I'm willing to help and all, but fuck man, you can't expect people to do all the research for you. ph 7? 100ppm nutes? No micro nutes with RO water? Adjusting ph before adding nutrients?

Dude, these are the EASY parts. Buy a book or shit man, bit torrent all of them for free.
