Hello guys !

i'm so sad but i found lot of seeds in every plant in my box ! I don't find the one or more who spit the pollen, with the grille it's difficult to see.

My question is :

Can i do the cut earlier and hope that the seeds don't become too much bigger ?

Or can i do the flowering until the end, wait that the seeds become bigger for remove them easily when i smoke this weed ?

Do you think i will find the Hermie during the cut ? I do a mother plant selection and i must found the Hermie...

Thanks in advance for any advice !!

Some digging should turn up the culprit. Ive never cut early from seeds and been happy. If you can do some testing by taking test buds off. Fast dry them and check them out when your nearing the chop dates. If you can get them off a couple days early it wont he that bad, but if you got seeds id just roll with it. You can get most of them off by just digging them out while they grow, and when you manicure. Then order some new seeds from GorrilaSeedBank or the vault, or one of the guys that advertise on the site. They have good genetics that will be better than whatever your running. Just dont freak out and cut two weeks early and wreck all your work.

Hi alien !

Thanks for your advice ! i will wait until the trim and digging out the seeds that grow.

I buy them seeds in amsterdam during a trip, at the DNA store, i was thinking that CrocketFarms was a good breeder ... The fact is that i have 2 phenotype really interesting for the smell ! I launch 10 seeds of sensi skunk regular (sensi seeds) and hope that i won't have more problem...

I check your website and think that is will use them for the next order... but for the moment i have lot of regular seeds from sensi seeds to try..

I will inform on my grow diary, take few minutes to check that ;)

Intersex, hermaphrodite is incorrect and exceedingly rare...You either had girl or male pollen spread around....Making seeds is making seeds, of course you should go the distance.....
Intersex isn't something you breed out like short or tall or blue eyes or green eyes....it is the plants reproductive system....I wish more realized this. :peace:

Hello Abiqua !

You are true, i'm sorry for my bad english but this not my mother tongue, i don't know all of the exact word. But i think that there si some plant that are more influence by this phenomenon than others. 10 years ago we heard a lot less about this phenomenon so what changed in the actual breeding ? If i want to minimize the risk when i make some seeds what i need to care ?

It's not the first time that i have some intersex with regular seeds and i don't do so much stress in the flowering so i don't really understand what is influence this phenomenon ..

It is a difficult question of sorts, so I will keep it simple, hopefully for translating purposes :leaf:

There has not been a solid theory of what influences different reproductive traits...it is thought that and imho is heavily influenced by environment to some degree...

One problem with intersex is that males are often neglected and not finished or culled upon pollen collecting...this is big problem because without chemotype markers denoting intersex, we have to grow out and select for individuals that respond well to the a particular environment and don't show intersex traits at the same time.......: both male and female!
This is great way to select for seedless...^^^^

I am of the opinion that intersex plants carry traits as well that we desire in a chemotype profile and shouldn't be neglected just because the bud has seeds. Some are worse than others granted, but still only a fiscal reason, not genetically. This is how you strangle the gene pool imho. :peace:

Hello abiqua !

Thanks for your time , i understand clearly what you mean!

It's true that i have already intersex female with really interesting taste, and other without awesome colors. Some trait that i wanted to keep.

So a the end to ''control'' this phenomenon , you have to take more time to end well the male and the female both to see their intersex ! And the problem is that time and money is too linked. Make good seeds take lots of time.

Still thanks you for your answer, i really appreciate !

See you !
