Questions about cdls

I got a few questions about growing. Me and a friend are secretely growing in a 2 foot deep by a little more that 2 feet high.what is the best light to use in a normal household light fixture? Thank you. Looking to not spend a whole lot of money here.

By best light i mean best wattage and kelvin and everything about the light(if that makes sense)

your lowest cost would be a compact flouresent bulb or four put into y fixtures found at hardware store's cheap timer 18/6 18 hrs on! 6 hrs off! Water and watch it grow! not to much water not too close with the bulb's keep about 6-8 inches away! learn all you can and ask meaningful question's when you need to. Learn this and it will make you happy! Wishing you the best! jack

con't 45 watt is fine what you can get 23 watt?? Make sure no light can get to your plant's durring the 6 hour period! Grow to 1/2 the height you have and change your timer to 12/12 and watch closely!!grow another 8-9 weeks and you will get your reward my brother! Need's air circulating and water 2-3 day's and a little worm casing fertilizer's..read...read...question???

I have 10000+ lumens per plant (4 plants) and it's going rather nicely.

almost san diego. doesn't matter in veg if they get total darkness OP but otherwise what jack said. you need 6500k and 2700k cfls. using these 2 are the best. good luck, i grew nice bud with cfls before going with 600 hps.

For a small area where heat would be a problem...definately CFL's.
Use a 3:1 ratio for a fuller spectrum.
Veg (for example) 6, 23W 6500K Daylight and 2, 23W 2700K Soft CFL's.
Flower, the other way around, 6 Soft and 2 Daylight.

Why indeed you are a modirator? Well excuse me for trying to be helpful to one who obviously doesn't have your credential's....What's the problem not deep enough questions? Everyone has to start at the bottom..you didn't learn from osmosis..give every one equal respect and don't be such a jerk. jack
