Questions About A Light Mover

if a light mover allows the light to be moved closer to the canopy, could it be moved even closer if its aircooled?
i was thinking of connecting duct booster fans to my light hoods. its the only way i could think of cooling them while they move. could i connect the fans directly to the hoods, or would they rattle? anyone have any suggestions?
also, would two 600 watt lights cover a 6x6 area sufficiently? if anyone has any tips, it would be greatly appreciated from those who know.

I have never heard of this, how does a light mover that travels mybe 6' every 10 minutes let you move the light closer to the plant??

Most folk use the lexible ducting, it moves with the lights. Many pictures have been posted of how to do this.

Well, kinda, you would be pushing the 'footprint to the limits at 6' IMO. you would be better off witha 5' by 8' area, maybe even 10' with the light movers. VV

Think your confused a little.A light move moves lights on a rail back and forth. A standard rail comes in 6 foot lengths.You hang your light on it and it moves 6 feet one way then 6 feet back.Has nothing to do with up and down those are yo yo hangers that allow you to raise and lower a light. I use a single light mover rail with a custom tandem arm and I have 1 600 watt light on each end and cover a 8x8 room nicely.You ll have to make your own tandem bar to carry 2 lights or buy the additional light mover setup which is another $150-200 plus the original $200 for the light mover.

i do have the add-a-lamp bar, (a tandem bar moves in line, not side-by-side) so it will be traveling side-by-side. and i wanted to attach a duct fan directly to the duct inlet to the air-cooled hood. fuck the flex duct, it causes too much friction in the air movement. but overall, 2x600 watts will make heathy buds in a 6x6 or 6x7 area? im aiming for a bigger, more healthy SOG instead of a huge table's worth of long, lanky, whispy buds that arent getting enough light.

also, is there any way to shorten the travel length of the light mover that doesnt involve cutting the rail?

the better ones have 'stops' you can install to shorten the length it 'runs'.VV
