I just planted my seeds yesterday and I planted them in miracle grow. Come to find out most people say miracle grow won't make the plant grow to it's fullest potential. So when exactly can I replant it? Should I just wait until it sprouts and then replant? Also, what's the best soil to use?

If your growing in dirt than any soil without a slow release formula will work fine. Most of these guys make up their own with other additives and fillers. I was in soil for years but now its hydro all the way, you should look into it, its another option. Good Luck

Yeah, I always see people talking about hydro but I've never did any research on it.
I guess after this grow I'll try to learn as much as I can about everything, thanks!

FWIW (as it is too late) the best logical argument against MG, in this situation,
might be that it is more nutritious than one wants a germination soil to be.

This is why stuff as simple as rockwool or peat is used for popping seeds.

This all being said, you will probably be fine. Pot is hardy. :0)

There is much to read on here about soil and soil making. I would recommend
Fox Farms Ocean Forest for a starting soil.

Good luck,

JD

Thank you! So it's too late to replant? What about when I plant them in a bigger pot I couldn't just put different soil in it?

No, I meant only that the soil for germination has been set.

You can transplant to anything you like....you could even wash the roots
off and go to a hydro setup.

Good luck,
