Hey guys I am thinking of buying a 7 band 135w ufo led from HTG.Now i have seen this particular led and it is BRIGHT!
Do you think it still has the same penetration levels as say a 400w HPS?---thanks

it may replace a 150w HPS, a 250w at best but I would not count on it. To have the same results as a 400w HPS you'd need roughly at least two of them.

wouldnt waste your time or money on that light, you get what you pay for, so dont go cheap

they use less w than what they say. it would use around 90-100w of actual energy. i was looking at those when i bought my pg-180. most led are china made and come with no warranty. idk if pg-180 is make in china or not. but it comes with a 3 year warranty which is good if something bad happens. ive herd of blackstars middle light burning out from heat. i would do more research. asking people their opinions isnt always reliable. some just got their leds and havent had much experience with them like me.

As far as I understand, with todays technology, HID produces the best results.
CFL's, LED's, etc., are for limitation like heat and power consumption.
