question

can u grow a full plant on a 12/12 or do u have to do 18/6 atlest? will it bud and grow right

id stick to natral hours man unless its a auto plant. i dont mess with it cus ive tryed before n killed leaves n made it droopy

I would recommend a short veg of 18+ hrs for at least a week before flipping to 12/12 - just keeps the plant shorter and more compact. You can grow 12/12 from seed though. It does produce bud and all that jazz.

I've never grown autos. You can grow them at 12/12 but I hear they are a bit leafier than if grown at 18/6 or more light.

you can grow any MJ plant on 12/12 from seed.

IMO it is best to use blue spectrum lighting for around 2weeks at the start. During the first 2-4 weeks the plant will continue to veg , then the plant should begin to get alternating nodes and pistils. Then budding will begin.


With the right environment/care you can easily pull +15g when going 12/12 from seed. Generally with around a 15inches tall plant come harvest time .

Can you put a clone into 12/12 right after it roots? Cause i read that this 1 dude cut 2 clones and put them right into 12/12 and ended up with like a bud on a stick that grew, had pictures.... kinda wanna grow a little 1 for the hell of it. i don't have much room in my grow room, so a little 1 would be perfect.
