So I have a mid size plant. Greatttt smell and great crystals... Half the plant however has orange hairs and half the plant has white hairs.. I keep seeing that ALLLL the hairs turn amber or orange... could I just take the buds off that are done and keep the rest on or what do I do? Pics later.. light cycles off in like an hour.

the new pistils will be white as the other older ones could change color,

however you dont tell maturity by pistil color you need to check the trichomes with a magnifying glass

A healthy plant will continue putting out new, white pistils, until the day you cut her - that's one of her efforts to keep trying for pollination, as the older, "done" hairs would no longer work for that.

Done 5 grows and been able to harvest in stages over 2 - 3 weeks. Top buds seem to mature first, which I guess is not surprising.

But the pistils don't tell you when it's done. check the trich's. I have pistils turn way before the trich's start going amber.
