am about to purchase a ballast and reflector and my husband thinks it may be to difficult to wire it together!! lol I think its not. can someone please let me know what all goes into the wiring of the ballast although ill figure it out myself once it arrives!!!:leaf:

It shouldnt be hard at all depending what your getting. Alot of the time you literally plug the cordset into the ballast and then plud the ballast into the wall. Bam you just wired it up

Well I have never used one of those so I cant say for sure what it looks like(the plug in for cord set). When you bought it did the cordset come with it and if not did you buy it at the same place? If so then Im guessing it will work so therefore my first thought I wrote would hold true. I have also bought ballasts before that came with a cord that plugged into the ballast and then it was just the wires at the other end. With that I took a hydrofarm cordset and just cut its cord and splice the ballast cord(the one that came with the ballast) with the hydrofarm socket(I could of just bought a socket though but I had a extra hydrofarm cordset already). But like with a lumatek it will match up with the hydrofarm cordset and you just plug it in.

Oh yea and by the way.......after all my rambling......Tell your husband it wont be a problem. At the most you'll just connect three wires.
