Question regarding need to decarb

I have routinely decarbed buds for 40 minutes at 225 degrees and then placed the decarbed weed in a crock pot with mtc coconut oil on low for four hours. Temps during the infusion hover right around 185 to 195.
My question is: for long infusions, like I described, do I need to decarb first or is it not needed because it will decarb during the infusion? The edibles turn out ok but don't hit super hard. I am concerned that I am losing terms and the by doing both. Guidance and advise is very appreciated

Everything I have read about making oil this way called for a decarb.

i cook mine at 225 for 6 hours. So maybe try bumping up your temp as well.

I have never decarbed mine.
Fill a mason jar with whatever you have, trim, bud, or whatever. Fill to the brim with oil, cap it, and put it in a pot of boiling water for a 3 or so hours.
It will be quite strong

I decarb with a sous vide @203°f for about 90mins.
Using an immersion circulator really keeps the temps spot on and preserves the Terps so it doesn't taste nasty later
Then I cook with the oil for 6-8 hrs @ 180 or so

Been making it a long time, have tried both ways many times.. never could tell a difference other than less flavor.

I used to decarb, I forgot one time and thought I screwed up the whole batch..
It was just as good as usual.. Haven't decarbed since.. 225 for 6hrs works fine..
