So I'm starting a budget grow, just as an experiment, I'm only growing one plant and may or may not ever grow again. I can't invest money into ferts so I've been looking into other options. Whats the best soil I can use if I'm not using ferts with my watering? If I get an organic soil like Fox Farm or something similar will I need extra nutes from fertilizers? I can water with my fishtank water which will supply some nutrients I suppose. I also have a 1lb bag of fertilizer for aquarium plants its equal parts KNO3, K2SO4, MgSO4, and some micronutrients, would this do me any good?
