question regarding a male that is turning female from stress

I have a male SpacePussy, F3 and I am wanting to make F4, I selected the best male and I had it upstairs just to get it to give me enough pollen to pollinate a bud. The plant was stressed right out, the day he showed sex I pulled it from a container and repotted it with very little root. It survived quite fine but had terrible lighting schedule and this morning I noticed many female hair amongst the balls. I was just about to harvest a little bit of pollen coze one sac was about to open but now I am reconsidering it ... does it mean I will have more chance of creating hermies? even if the male was heavily stress?

Thank you

Vert intrested to see pics!
Im not 100% but whatever makes males hermie i think may be a seperate
Set of genes that what makes females hermie because ive seen in strains
Like spyder the males pretty much all hermie and you dont really have to worry
About the females oddly enough.
This is a quote from the man himself DJ Short

"'Backward"hermorphidites are males that eventually sport female flowers (as opposedto the usual female to male hermorphodites). These are rare
occurrences, usually sterile but sometimes viable, that I foundtobe geneticallyvaluable. Manyresinous anddesireable males exhibit this trait, whichalmost
guarantees against unwantedhomeomorphism insubsequent generations as it alsoincreases the female tomale ratioin it's progeny."

No problem greensanta, will you be keeping a journal on the progeny?
Also something i would be very intrested in seeing.

I am almost having a hard time getting the plant to give me pollen its completely reverting back to fem!! If I do use the pollen on any of my plants, the progeny will be documented in my journal for sure (link in my signature)

I see this trait, no pics so I am geussing, more often in landrace selections. But from what little experience I do have, all has been promising from a progeny standpoint. I have not seen higher/any intersex expressions from any of the progeny. I don't use females that have a strong expression of these traits to be clear. I could very well simple be stress, and will have zero impact as well. DJ SHORT does appear to be correct about this ime.

Good luck
