When the tap root first comes out of the bottom of the cube, what do i do? Its not long enough to make it into the flood line without the rockwool touching and getting too wet, but i dont think its a good idea to let it just hang out in my propagator box right?

I let the bottom of my rockwool touch the floodline. If your roots are already coming out the bottom, they will quickly continue growing and the rockwool being wet won't be a problem.

I flood for 15 min every 6 hours in veg, what does your schedule look like? If you don't let the rockwool get wet, what's the point of using it?

There was another post recently about putting rooted clones straight into hydroton. I need to try that one of these days... maybe that would help in your setup.

I like to keep the rockwool moist for germination and keep it in a humidity dome so it stays just moist enough without drying up. My schedule would be check them in the morning when i wake up and spray them if needed then the same thing at around 7

I use nutes from the rez to hydrate by hand until the roots hang in the waterline for dwc. You could set some nutes aside in a light proof container and keep them oxygenated with a small air pump and stone.
