Question on sterile rez, southern ag, silica, humic/fulvic acids

Hey everyone. I'm currently running a RDWC system. I'm using GH flora series and Cal-Mag as nutes.

My questions are on the accessories of it.

I've read that I don't need Southern AG if I run sterile rez using HTH pool shock. What do you all recommend?

Can humic/fulvic (GH diamond nectar or Ful Power BioAG) acids co-exist with the Southern AG and/or sterile rez?

Lastly, is silica a good idea to incorporate into RDWC?

I can't comment on any of those products, but I can speak to the Silica and beneficial microbes. I've used Armor Si (GH Silicate) for years now with great results, as well as helping to keep a more stable PH. I also use it to make slight changes to the PH if it needs raised about .1, more than that and I use PH up. I've tried running sterile res and just could not get it to work...I'm sure it was due to my own mistakes. Beneficial microbes like hydroguard and Great White proved to be so much more effective for my grow. Greatly increased root growth and highly tolerable to higher temps, my res routinely get's above 71-72F and I've not had root rot in literally 4 years now. Hope I could help out :)

Thanks Logan. I was going to your route plus the humic acids. Then I read about sterile rez and conflicting with chelated agents plus it creates a gas when mixed with Southern AG fungicide. So I was trying to get a better understanding on the better method.
